The RCOG hazard mitigation team conducted individual meetings with Nodaway County school leaders to facilitate updating local information into the multi-jurisdictional plan on Monday, March 27.

Nodaway County Multi-Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Meeting #2 was held Wednesday, March 29 @ 1 p.m.

The Nodaway County Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Kickoff Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 1 at 4 pm at the Maryville Public Safety Building. The public was presented with information about the update process. It was agreed that the current plan’s goals will remain as before. Individual meetings with jurisdictions and school districts not in attendance may be scheduled with the NWMORCOG office in order to complete questionnaires and review mitigation actions for inclusion in this update. A follow-up meeting date to discuss proposed changes to the plan and implementation strategy will be announced soon.
